8th July

Today began at 6:15pm when we all met at the airport. After checking in and getting some group photos we sat and waited. The plane was delayed half an hour. The plane ride was reasonably smooth with a couple of bumps while landing at Auckland airport. The only hiccup of the day was Amber's bag getting temporarily lost. This meant a late arrival to Papakura. After settling into our makeshift beds we attempted a good nights sleep, preparing for the next days adventures. - Jenna and Ben
